![]() When not buried in flour, Lance enjoys swinging a kettlebell, exploring the Coachella Valley and spoiling his black lab Lola with biscuit treats. He continues to seek out opportunities to learn from true biscuit masters, taking a class and baking alongside Carrie Morey of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit in Charleston, South Carolina, and recently taking a biscuit journey to Marion, Alabama to bake biscuits again with Scott Peacock. Lance geeks out on the chemistry and discipline of baking and prides himself on his selection of high-quality ingredients and attention to technique. It was there that Lance met biscuit master Scott Peacock and furthered his Lowcountry culinary education, and was named one of the “Ten Best New American Chefs” by Food & Wine magazine.
